Hi there! I am Amelia Overby (she/her).
Thank you for being a part of my journey to understanding what life is really all about.
I received my undergrad from the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies) with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in English. I am a Graduate Assistant for Albertus Magnus Women’s Soccer team in New Haven.
Not only am I coaching, but I’m obtaining my masters in Management and Organizational Leadership. I am also a head coach at Sterling Advanced Futbol Club. I get to coach a lively group of young soccer stars.
This led me to take on a new role as a Program Assistant at Sterling Community Center. I love having the opportunity to support my local community.
Besides all that I am an avid reader, a chef, an athlete, an older sister, a daughter, a writer, and so much more.
There are so many traits about ourselves many of us overlook when we are trying to define who we are. What we feel our purpose is in life. Ultimately, I am trying to understand more about myself, and I hope along the way you are able to learn something about yourself too.
